Create Web Application Shortcuts with Chrome

Many times we feel that boring and irritated by the fact that whenever we want to check our mail or do something using any web application we need to type username and password and wait for it to login and do our work.Even though nowadays we are having the option called “Keep me signed in”  still we want to open the browser and type the URL which is again time taking process.What if we can launch our email in box with just a double click like an desktop application,Though there is software from Mozilla called Prism still we want to download that and install and configure that.In Google’s chrome browser there is an option to create shortcut of our application,here is how to do it.

  1. Open the page to which you want to create a shortcut
  2. Click on the “Control Current Page Icon”  ccp
  3. Click on the “Create Application shortcut option”menu
  4. Choose where you want the shortcut.choose
